The spherical blowout preventer consists of five main components: housing, piston, support ring, spherical rubber element, and top cover. All dynamic seals of the annular blowout preventer use lip-type sealing rings, which minimize wear and ensure reliable sealing. The rubber element is resistant to turning over, features a funnel effect, and benefits from well pressure-assisted sealing.
